to start off with

So it was one fine afternoon, a week before senior year when I decided hmm..maybe I should blog. I wasn't too sure...so I talked to a couple of my friends here and there and most of their reactions were, " why in the world are you blogging"? It made me think twice, yes, but then I was like I have to give it a shot. It's senior year..I gotta make it exciting =) maybe blogging would just bring out something positive.

Last night my best friend Rasha and I were brain storming on what my blogs are going to be about.. after six straight hours of thinking, I decided I should probably just write and see where this goes. So I'm going to start off with telling you more about me.

I Live on the most beautiful island in the Caribbean, St.Maarten =) I was born in India and raised here, however...St.Maarten is now my home.


I have the most amazing family. My mom is absolutely the most understanding and loving mother anyone can ever have and sometimes .. just sometimes I forget that. But now.. shes been away for about a month and I realize just how much she does for me. My dad, hmm I love my old man :) we fight, argue, throw tantrums and go days without talking to each other but he's awesome and there is nothing in this world that will change my love for him. And now.. the most important aspect of my life, my brother.. how do I even start? we're complete opposites and we barely ever agree on the same thing but I know that if anything we're to ever happen, he's got my back=)

I go to Learning Unlimited, a private American School here on the island and now I am in my senior year..
It's my last year on this little rock, and I didn't think I would ever say this but I'm going to miss this place.

I haven't decided where I'm heading to college yet.. but I'm sure when I would be working on college apps and essays, you're all going to hear lots about it :)

My cousins: Resham Nanwani, I Love you to death! My friends come and go but I know that you will be an amazing sister through thick and thin just the way you have all these years :)

Tor, I have no idea how I would get through high school without you, and I must say this-I am going to absolutely miss you. There is going to be no one to tell me," what the hell are you doing woman"?

menka, you're my unbiological sister and everyone knows that :) I love you and I'm going to miss you so much<3

Rikita, you're smart and beautiful! Thanks for being there for me always!
Pravina, you're always making fun of me and messing with my small mind but you're one of the most helpful people I've known.
To my class, if you're reading this- you guys are great and I'm gonna miss you all
To everyone else I haven't mentioned here, I haven't forgotten you - you're all special. :)
